Safeguarding

At Trinity, we strongly promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm.  This is part of the school's role in safeguarding all of its pupils.

We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for children, staff and visitors and promoting a climate where children and adults will feel confident about sharing any concerns which they may have about their own safety or the well-being of others.

All adults working in this school (including visiting staff, volunteers and students on placement) are required to report instances of actual or suspected child abuse or neglect to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr David Lucas,  our Executive Headteacher.  Our deputy safeguarding leads are Kady Taitt, Clare Shobbrook and Amanda Harvey. Mr David Lucas has overall responsibility for the safeguarding of all members of the Trinity community.  These members of staff are also fully trained and work as a team to safeguard all our pupils.

All staff have received the appropriate training and receive annual refreshers to ensure that up-to-date knowledge is shared.
