Safeguarding
At Trinity we have a duty to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. This is part of the school's role in safeguarding all of its pupils.
We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for children, staff and visitors and promoting a climate where children and adults will feel confident about sharing any concerns which they may have about their own safety or the well-being of others.
All adults working in this school (including visiting staff, volunteers and students on placement) are required to report instances of actual or suspected child abuse or neglect to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, who is Mr. Steve Gallears, our Deputy Head. Our deputy safeguarding leads are Shelley Simpson and Clare Shobbrook who are fully trained to work as a team to safeguard all our pupils. Mr. David Lucas, Executive Headteacher has overall responsibility for safeguarding.
All staff have received the appropriate training and receive annual refreshers to ensure that up to date knowledge is shared.
