We take pride in our outward looking and forward-thinking culture, as we are a school that welcomes all faiths and none.We are proud to be Trinitarians and our Ethos is forming the foundation of our daily practices and successes based on:

  • Learning – we are a Learning Community with high academic standards.
  • Loving – we belong to a Caring family of pupils, staff, parents and governors.
  • Living – we are living our lives to the full, serving those in need in our wider  community.

At Trinity, we are a family, striving for our members to fulfil their potential, preparing them to take their place as citizens of the world. We envision our terrific Trinitarians to be Open Minded, Caring, Courageous, Reflective, Principled, Independent, Insightful, Resilient and Knowledgeable.

Mrs Rachel Cocks

PA Deputy Safeguarding Officer

Miss Cocks is the PA Safeguarding Officer for Trinity all through School, and also responsible for children that are cared for. Her role is to support pupils to attend school regularly, to support them inbeing happy and safe in school and are not suffering any harm in or outside of school. Mrs Cocks works with the local authority, Children’s Social Care and the Virtual School to make this possible. If a pupil is having problems with their school attendance it is her duty to inform the local authority of this and work together with parents and pupils to find ways to ensure their attendance does not fall so low that they become a Persistent Absentee which will stay on their record for their whole time at Trinity. Part of her role involves going in to the local community to undertake home welfare visits to see why a pupil is not attending. Trinity School takes the safeguarding of pupils seriously and have a duty of care to ensure pupils are safe in and out of school. Miss Simpson works closely with Children’s Social Care to find the right solutions and support for pupils and their family. Miss Simpson is also a Mental Health First Aider for the school and works alongside our Trinity School Counsellor supporting pupils where needed.
